Hit-and-run crash damages post in front of Kettering shopping center

Officers and fire crews responded Tuesday morning to The Arbor shopping center on Far Hills Avenue, where after a post in front of a Dayton Children’s outpatient location was damaged.

Police said a driver hopped the curb and slammed into the post.

Investigators did not indicate whether any surveillance video captured the crash nor whether a suspect vehicle had been identified.

Building inspectors were requested to survey the damage.
