Coroner’s office releases ID of man found outside a house in Dayton

UPDATE @ 4:20 p.m.: The man found dead outside a house on Nassau Street has been identified as 50-year-old Steve Wynn, according to the Montgomery County Coroner's Office.

An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.

INITIAL REPORT

Homicide detectives have been requested to investigate the death of a man on Nassau Street that has been called “suspicious,” according to police.

Officers were requested to first block of Nassau Street, just north of Xenia Avenue, around 7:30 a.m. after a 911 caller asked police to check on his brother.

The man, whose identity was not released, was found dead outside a house, according to dispatch records.

Blood was found at the scene, however it does not appear that the man was shot or stabbed, according to police.

The man’s cause of death is still under investigation and will be determined by the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office.

Additional details were not available.
