Hunter safety courses are free

A hunter education safety course will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 5 and 6 at Hob Camp Nature Center, 1815 S. Ohio 123, about four miles east of Lebanon. Watch for the big yellow sign. Classes are free.

It is required by law that all first time hunters must complete the two-day course and pass the written test before they can purchase a hunting license, regardless of age. Food will be available to purchase.
