Intoxication suspected in 2-vehicle crash on U.S. 35 in Jefferson Twp.

Two people were taken to the hospital Wednesday following a crash on U.S. 35., according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

Around 11:50 p.m., crews responded to the scene where a Chevrolet four-door crashed into the side of a dump truck.

Both occupants were transported to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Intoxication is suspected in the crash, the sheriff’s office said.

This crash remains under investigation.
