Police say while one of the employees was taking out the trash shortly before 11 p.m. at the restaurant, 1981 Harner Drive in Xenia, a gunman approached and forced the worker back inside.

That’s when the robber took an unknown amount of money from the safe and fled out the back door.

The employee was not injured during the robbery.

A K-9 was requested to the scene to look for the robber. The track led to a nearby Walmart parking lot, where officials say they believe the robber got into a vehicle.

The robber is described as a man wearing a black Nike jumpsuit and a black face mask, according to initial reports.

A BOLO (Be On the Lookout) broadcast was issued to area police for the reported suspect vehicle, described as a 2003 black Infinity, occupied by two males who are possibly armed.
