A pair of crashes that may have been related caused part of Interstate 70 to be closed for over an hour this afternoon.
Crews were called to eastbound I-70 near the Englewood exit at about 4:30 p.m. on reports of a crash that was affecting traffic.
On scene, troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol say they found a jackknifed semi tractor-trailer as well as a two-vehicle crash about 200 feet away.
Officials say the accidents were definitely weather-related but aren't sure if they are related.
The driver of the semi was not injured. Meanwhile, one person in the separate two-vehicle crash suffered minor injuries and was treated on scene.
Traffic was redirected from I-70, as the semi blocked both eastbound lanes. The interstate reopened more than an hour later.
