EO Burgers is on track to open its relocated restaurant perhaps as early as July 1, 2020.

An upscale-burgers-and-beers restaurant that left The Greene in January after a decade-long run is on track  to open in a few weeks, possibly July 1, in its new location at 520 Miamisburg-Centerville Road in Washington Twp., its managing partner says.

The relocated EO Burgers restaurant is gearing up to open in the former restaurant and bar side of Ollie’s Place, near Hauer Music on State Route 725. It will boast “a freshened-up menu and a few new items, plus 31 taps at the bar,” Glen Pyle, the restaurant’s managing partner, told this news outlet Thursday, June 11.

EO Burgers opened in 2010 at 4482 Glengarry Drive in The Greene as  a new concept of "upscale but affordable burgers" from Ann Arbor-based Mainstreet Ventures. It shut its doors in late January 2020. Its previous space at The Greene will soon open as the first Dayton-area location of Columbus-based Condado Tacos.

The new EO Burgers will have 4,500 square feet and a patio that seats 40, plus a stage “that I haven’t figured out exactly what to do with yet, but have a couple of ideas,” Pyle said. A full bar and frozen custard are also on the menu.

The restaurant will employ about 30, including staff members that previously worked at the Beavercreek location, Pyle said.
