Police say he and two other people entered the store, 1160 E. Central Ave., and stole cash, JUUL pods, cigarettes and lighters. One of the robbers had a gun and reportedly pointed it at a clerk.
Brown and three other juveniles were spotted in hoodies behind the business May 4 around 12:45 a.m., and the clerk called police believing the store was about to be robbed.
“Once detained and identified, all three subjects along with a female found to be with them were interviewed. It was then confirmed that at least two of these subjects were involved in the previous robbery,” police said in a prepared statement.
Brown has been in Montgomery County Jail since his arrest.
We will update this story with any new details that emerge from today’s arraignment.
