Koebbe Tire expands line

Wednesday's Business headlines

LIBERTY TWP. — Koebbe Auto Tech & Tire became a general gold level dealer of Continental brand tires last year, which the owner says has been good for business.

Owner Steve Koebbe said when he started working last fall with American Tire, a tire wholesaler, there was interest in Koebbe becoming a Continental dealer. As a gold dealer, Koebbe can offer better pricing, government and fleet pricing, and order direct from Continental.

Koebbe, which opened 13 years ago at 6791 Lakota Lane, also is a dealer of Goodyear, Cooper and Michelin tires, for example.

“That’s been a big help for our business,” Koebbe said.
