Lakota West symphonic group rehearsing tonight for Midwest Clinic

WEST CHESTER TWP. — The Lakota West High School Symphonic Winds will have a preview performance of its Midwest Clinic concert at 7 p.m. today in the Lakota West Auditorium.

This will be a formal dress rehearsal for the community as the band prepares for its performance in Chicago on Friday for the 65th annual event.

The band will leave Wednesday morning for the program’s third trip to the Midwest Clinic, making Lakota West the only high school band in Ohio to achieve that milestone. Lakota West also was chosen in 2000 and 2006.
