2 hurt in I-75 crash near U.S. 35, lanes reopened

The crash was reported on I-75 south near U.S. 35 around 7 a.m.

All lanes have reopened.

We are working to learn the extent of injuries.

FIRST REPORT

The left and middle lanes are blocked on southbound I-75 near U.S. 35 for an entrapment crash this morning.

Several law enforcement officers and medics were dispatched to the interstate for the wreck which involves a semi-truck and another vehicle, according to initial reports.

Our crews on scene say the truck has the vehicle pinned against the median.

It was reported that at least one person was trapped inside a vehicle involved in the wreck, which occurred at approximately 7 a.m., per emergency scanner traffic.

Crews were able to extricate the driver nearly a half-hour after the crash occurred.
