The man was pinned inside his 2009 Ford Mustang after crashing into an SUV at the intersection of U.S. 42 and West Krepps Road Thursday.
The man was the only person injured in the crash and is listed as the at fault driver, according to an Ohio State Highway Patrol crash report.

Deputies said an initial investigation found an SUV pulled out in front of a car causing the crash and ended with the car coming to rest in a field.

The driver of the car was trapped for about 15 minutes. Firefighters freed him and transported him to an area hospital for treatment. His condition was not immediately known.

The northbound lanes of U.S. 42 are shut down at West Krepps Road in Spring Valley Twp. following a two-vehicle crash that sent one vehicle into a field.
Deputies said an initial investigation found an SUV pulled out in front of a car, sending the car into the field.
The driver of the car is trapped inside the vehicle and crews are working to free them from the wreckage, according to our crew on the scene.

FIRST REPORT
At least one person is trapped in a vehicle following a crash on U.S. 42 between Xenia and Spring Valley Thursday morning.
Crews were dispatched to the area of U.S. 42 near West Krepps Road around 9 a.m. on reports of a crash with a car ending up in a field.
Initial reports indicate one of the vehicles involved suffered “heavy” damage and has trapped the driver inside.
The condition of the crash victims was not immediately known.
