The driver went off the road around 1:20 p.m. and into a cornfield on the right side of the highway to avoid two other vehicles involved in an earlier crash, according to Mad River Twp. fire officials.
The incidents happened near Snider Road and closed the left lane of I-70 west.
No one was injured in either of the incidents.
The truck driver was cited for assured clear distance, and the highway is open.
