Library to display 3D printing

Visitors to Dayton Metro Library locations in February will have an opportunity to see a 3D printer in action and learn about the variety of uses it can have.

The Dayton Metro Library’s 3D printer is on loan from SWON (Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky) Libraries Consortium.

The 3D printer makes three-dimensional objects with layer upon layer of material, often a version of plastic extrusion, with computer precision.

The printing can be seen at the libraries during regular operating hours between Feb. 2 and Feb. 28.
