Local Frisch’s Big Boy shut down temporarily for makeover

Bellbrook eatery will get ‘interior renovations to modernize the restaurant’ next week

The Frisch's Big Boy restaurant at 6188 Wilmington Pike in Bellbrook is closed for two days this week for a bit of a makeover.

The eatery is closed to the public Monday, Sept. 23 and Tuesday, Sept. 24, a spokeswoman for the Frisch’s Big Boy restaurant chain said.

“The remodel will include interior renovations to modernize the restaurant,” the spokeswoman said.

Plans call for a “grand re-opening” at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25, with local officials and Frisch’s leadership.

The Cincinnati-based restaurant chain operates 17 restaurants in the Dayton area.
