In Springfield, the Commercial Club was the original name of the Chamber of Commerce.
Springfield High School had their own Commercial Club in the 1920s, one of the many extra-curricular activities available to students.
The club, shown here during the 1924-1925 school year, was formed to promote an interest in and educate about business and provide opportunities for making social contacts.
