Madison Offers Gifted Identification Assessments

The Madison School District will be offering testing sessions this year of students for possible giftedness. The State of Ohio requires the following areas to be recognized from standardized testing: reading; math; science; social studies; cognitive ability; and creativity for grades K – 12 for gifted identification. Requests may be made for one or multiple areas for testing.

Parents may pick up referral forms from each school guidance office, the office of the Gifted Director, or download from the school district website. Completed forms must be submitted to the office of the Gifted Director. Parents will be contacted with testing dates, thereafter. For more information, please contact Dana Martin, Gifted Director, 5795 West Alexandria Road, Middletown, Ohio 45042, (513)420-4753.
