Police responded to the 100 block of North Garland Avenue and found a man, later identified as Reuber, slumped over the steering wheel of a vehicle.

He was taken to a local hospital, where he died of his injuries.

Dayton police Sgt. Joseph Setty said a woman identified as a person of interest was found a few blocks away with a handgun.

The woman’s name was not released, and it was not clear whether she will be charged in connection to Reuber’s death.

The cause and manner of Reuber’s death was not immediately available from the coroner’s office.
