Olvera received a five-ear prison sentence, but his case was returned on appeal to Butler County Common Pleas Court because the 12th District Court of Appeals determined he was miss informed when he entered his no contest plea about his right to appeal, according to court official.
Olvera plead guilty to misdemeanor charges in connection with the accident of vehicular manslaughter and driving left of center in Hamilton Municipal Court and was sentenced to 90 days in jail.
He is scheduled to be sentenced for the felony charge on Sept. 17 by visiting Judge Guy Guckenberger.
