Mason resident’s mega LEGO project on display

A Mason resident’s replica of Cincinnati Music Hall built out of LEGO bricks in on display at the Mason Community Center.

Mason resident Mark D. Clark built the scale model of Cincinnati Music Hall as it existed from 1896 to 1915. It took Clark more than seven months to construct the model that includes 122,000 LEGO bricks. A new addition to the model is Washington Park in 1911, when the central bandstand was built.

Hidden in plain sight in the model are dozens of surprises. Stop by to see the model and test your searching skills by locating the items on the “Find and Seek” list, available at the Community Center. You can also learn the history of the hall, including some facts and traditions.

The model will be in the main lobby of Mason Community Center until mid-April. Viewing the model is free and also open to the public.
