Bicyclist hit by vehicle in Beavercreek near bike trail at fault, crash report says

UPDATE @ 7:30 a.m. (Sept. 23):

A woman riding a bicycle that was struck by a car last week on Factory Road not far from the bike trail, has been identified.

Minako Yamamoto, 60, of Beavercreek, was taken to Miami Valley Hospital, where she is no longer a patient.

According to a Beavercreek police crash report, the bicyclist was at fault.

INITIAL REPORT (Sept. 16):

A woman has been taken to a local hospital after she was hit while riding her bicycle on Factory Road at U.S. 35, north of the bike trail in Beavercreek.

The incident was reported about 6:30 p.m. Monday

The victim is believed to be in stable condition, Beavercreek Twp. fire officials said.
