3 men arrested for allegedly duct taping teens during drug deal

HUBER HEIGHTS — Three men were arrested on multiple felony charges after they allegedly robbed and bound three teenagers with duct tape, police said.

Trevin Brown, 19, Ernest Lockett, 22, and William Duke, are being held at the Montgomery County Jail on charges of kidnapping, aggravated robbery and breaking and entering in connection to a crime that took place last week.

On May 18, three teenagers met with Duke at 6851 Wayne Estates Blvd. because they planned to purchase marijuana, a police report states. But when they went inside a vacant apartment, they found two other males were waiting for them, one of whom displayed a handgun.

The teenagers were ordered to surrender their belongings, and then the suspects bound them with duct tape in a bedroom and fled. The teens were able to break free of the tape within minutes and contacted police.

Police located the suspects with the help of a call about suspicious activity. Police said they arrested the suspects and discovered the stolen property, which included a wallet, a watch, music player and cell phone.
