The new logo renews blue as the township’s primary color, emphasizing the arrowhead and date of founding, with the community name and location prominently featured.
“This new logo and branding change is in line with what we have been hearing during the strategic planning process,” Trustee President Doug Barry said in a statement released Friday.
“Our residents want a strong and easily recognized identification that respects our history and moves us forward as a community. Our community continues to be a place that residents and businesses want to be and we want them to be able to say they are proud to be in Miami Township,” he said.
An unveiling is planned to occur at the ribbon cutting for the Park at Austin Landing and Bike Hub, in Austin Landing on May 28.
