When police arrived, they reported they saw a man standing on the corner of the street, according to a Dayton police report.
Police approached the man and officers said Collins identified himself immediately and told them he knew he had a warrant for his arrest, the report read.
Collins had a warrant out through Montgomery County for receiving stolen property.
Police said that they found a hypodermic needle in Collins’ purse, but no drugs.
Collins was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on the warrant and on a charge of possession of drug abuse instruments.
