The course is designed for training students interested in the health care field. A $25 fee provides each student with a medical terminology and anatomy workbook.
Students may attend the lab any time between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays on the fifth-floor learning lab in the Atrium Medical Center Professional Building.

• Middletown Adult Education has scheduled GED preparation registration/orientation the week of Jan. 30.
From 9 to 11:30 a.m. on Jan. 31 and Feb. 2, registration/orientation will take place at Manchester School, St. Paul’s Church, Head Start and Butler Tech (Room 212). Registration will at the same time on Jan. 30 and Feb. 1 at the Salvation Army.
Evening registration/orientation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 31 and Feb. 2 at Manchester School and Butler Tech.
The free GED practice test is also offered at Manchester School, St. Paul’s Church, Head Start, Butler and the Salvation Army.
The official GED test is offered throughout the month at Manchester School and WorkForce One. Applicants must complete registration online. The cost of the official GED test is $40.

• Free morning and evening computer classes will begin Tuesday, Feb. 14. English grammar and punctuation skills will also be reviewed as part of the class.
Classes — which are all 6 weeks long and on Tuesdays and Thursdays — will be held at Manchester School.
The classes are: basic computer skills, 9 to 10:30 a.m (optional: keyboarding, 10:30 to 11 a.m.); and Word, Excel and PowerPoint, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 6 to 7:30 p.m.
