Dry, pleasant conditions will continue through the holiday weekend and the next chance for rain will be Monday night.

Today's high temperatures in the mid 70s will cool to the mid 50s overnight heading into Sunday morning, according to Storm Center 7 Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs.

"For anyone headed to Great American Ball Park this evening for the Reds game, temperatures will be in the 70s to start, then into the 60s by the last inning," Vrydaghs said. "Remember to wear sunscreen all weekend long as our UV index will be at a very high level."

Mostly sunny skies continue Sunday with temps rising to the upper 70s. Conditions will be favorable for folks heading out to the Indy 500, Vrydaghs said.

Memorial Day is expected to be warm and humid as temps climb to the low to mid 80s.

"(Monday) will be our best pool day this weekend," Vrydaghs said.

Showers and thunderstorms could develop Monday night as Tuesday is expected to be "our wettest day" of the week with showers and storms expected through the day, Vrydaghs said.

Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with a few scattered showers and storms possible. Highs will be in the upper 70s.
