OVERNIGHT: Partly cloudy and cool overnight with temperatures falling to a low near 50, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said.

Isolated showers are possible across some northern counties before sunset.

Temperatures will be in the 60s in northern counties but in the 70s south because of a cold front that will stall in the area.

WEDNESDAY: Partly cloudy, warm, and breezy through the day with highs reaching the upper 70s. Some areas south of Dayton could reach the 80s. Showers and storms develop across the area after midnight.

THURSDAY: Some passing showers and downpours are expected in the early morning. We'll see a brief break in the activity before more showers and storms arrive in the afternoon and evening. Storms could be strong to severe. Highs will climb to the mid 70s.

FRIDAY: Scattered showers are possible in the morning but mostly cloudy conditions are expected the rest of the day. Highs will be in the middle 60s.
