Missing Alzheimer's patient has been found

DAYTON — A missing woman with Alzheimer’s disease has been found, according to Dayton police.

Jacqueline M. Gardner, 63, had walked away from her group home in the 1600 block of Emerson Avenue about 11 a.m. Thursday, July 9, and police had asked for help in finding her.

A police sergeant who asked not to be named said she had been found. No further information was available.
