Mold allergies a problem for some Miami Valley residents

The recent humidity has kept the mold count up across the Miami Valley. On the flip side, due to the lack of rain for several days, the count has dropped slightly today compared to the start of the week, but remains at a moderate level.

A cold front passing this afternoon will bring in cooler and drier weather to round out the week. This should help to suppress the mold count too, along with keeping our other pollen problems low through the weekend.

Pollen will continue to be a problem until we see our first frost. That typically does not happen until mid to late October.
