Sheriff confirms 3 shot, wounded in Harrison Twp.; investigation ongoing

The Montgomery Count Sheriff’s Office is confirming that three people were shot and wounded at a residence on Northcutt Place Thursday night.

Deputies located two victims at the address, the former Northland Village apartments now called Creekside Townhomes. They were taken to a hospital by Harrison Twp. firefighters. A third victim arrived at Miami Valley Hospital a short time later, by private motor vehicle.

The shooting happened around 8:30 p.m.

The conditions of the victims are not known.

Police from Dayton and Butler Twp., along with Five Rivers Metro Park rangers initially joined Montgomery County Sheriff's deputies when the incident was dispatched.

Deputies now are in charge of the investigation.

White sedan last seen headed toward North Dixie Drive, according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch.
