New Disc Golf Course

The Xenia Rotary has committed $5,000 toward a new Disc Golf Course at Sol Arnovitz Park, 436 Towler Rd.

The Xenia Disc Golf Planning Committee, in partnership with the city, needs to raise $10,000 to purchase the equipment, materials, and signs for an 18-hole, free to play course. The city has agreed to provide the labor for installation, long-term maintenance, as well as future improvements to the park.

The group also is planning fund-raising events and hole sponsorship opportunities to raise an additional $3,000. If the committee meets its $3,000 goal, Xenia Rotary has agreed to donate another $2,000.
