Another lead has helped investigators develop a description of a vehicle that may have been involved in the homicide.
Stykes, of Ripley, was found in her Jeep off U.S. Route 68. Her 14-month-old daughter, Aubree, was also in the vehicle. A bullet hit her brain and exited her skull. Her father this month told an area radio station that she's doing "amazing."
Surveillance cameras at a McDonald's, 4883 Ohio 125, recorded Stykes at about 7:30 p.m. -- minutes before she was found less than 5 miles away, authorities said.
Despite the leads, sheriff's Detective Buddy Moore said investigators have no motive and are no closer to an arrest.
"The traffic detail we did last week did result in some tips," Moore told the television station. "We were able to talk to three or four different people who saw the same type of vehicle around the time of the murder."
