A restaurant called Chilli's Wings & Rings is in the works on Salem Avenue in Harrison Twp., although it has some regulatory conditions to navigate and permits to obtain before it can open, township officials say.

Signage has been installed at the new restaurant coming to 3736 Salem Ave., a Facebook page has been created, and the property owner has applied for several permits required before opening.

Justin Olszewski, Harrison Twp. zoning administrator, said the restaurant must pass a township life-safety inspection before it can be issued a certificate of zoning compliance, and Montgomery County records suggest the restaurant must still pass an inspection to obtain a certificate of occupancy.

The owners of Chilli’s Wings & Rings could not be reached Wednesday or Thursday.
Promotional photos touting the new restaurant’s menu and posted in Chilli’s window say wings, chicken tenders, fish and shrimp will be available.
