Nonprofit to host neighborhood party

Good Neighbor House, with support from Kettering Health Network and the Dayton Dragons, is hosting the First Street Family Fun Day at noon Sunday, Aug. 24, in the Good Neighbor House parking lot at 627 E. First St. in Dayton.

The event is free and open to the public. Festival goers can enjoy food, music and other entertainment, including clowns, face painting, interactive games and inflatable slides. The festival also features wellness screenings for adults and children.

Good Neighbor House, is a nonprofit organization that provides food pantry services, clothing and household items to underserved individuals and families in the greater Dayton community. The organization also provides medical, dental and vision care, and health education and screenings.
