A November 15 ice storm left many local cities scrambling to clean up everything from stray tree branches to downed power lines. NewsCenter 7’s Sean Cudahy talked with Centerville Public Works Supervisor Marty Takcett who advised the city has just finished cleaning up all of the left over ice storm wreckage.

Tackett also stated that the same truck used for leaf collection are converted and used for ice preparation so the early ice storm really put a wrench in the city’s schedule. Centerville ended up a week behind on leaf collection and will still be collecting leaves all next week.
