In an Oct. 15 letter from Oberer representative Greg Smith, residents were invited to the meeting to ask questions and see what the latest modifications are to the proposed Elliot Woods community.
The company has been working on changing the design of the proposal following feedback from regional planners and local residents.

Oberer is looking to build nearly 100 homes on an 85-acre plot of land. The original plans called for relatively smaller lots but preserving about half the acreage as green space.

Among the latest changes, Oberer has increased the open space near Wilmington-Dayton Road and created a 40 mph curve on that road, said Cara Tilford, Sugarcreek Twp. director of planning and zoning.
