Dayton police say were initially dispatched to a car fire at the intersection of Linden Avenue around 2 a.m. and found that the vehicle also crashed into a tree and pole when they arrived on scene.
Crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire.
The crash caused an RTA pole to lean, temporarily blocking East Fifth Street. The road has since reopened.
No suspect descriptions were immediately available.
