Man (and Woman) cannot live on bourbon alone. At least, that appears to be the mindset of the Ohio Division of Liquor Control.
Who are we to argue?
The state’s liquor agency has released a flurry of rare and sought-after bourbons in limited releases over the last several months, but the agency is switching gears for its latest release with what Jim Canepa, the state’s liquor-control superintendent, called “a rare scotch that blew me away.”

The Macallan Edition No. 4 is the latest release in Macallan’s Edition Series, and it will be available in small quantities at 44 state liquor-agency stores (including three in the Dayton area) starting at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, according to the division’s “OHLQ Insiders Bulletin.”

Each store will receive only 12 bottles of the rare elixir that Canepa said “will never be repeated.” The bottles will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, and stores can limit sales to one per customer.

Here’s how the division of liquor control describes its scotch offering:
The Macallan Edition Series is a unique, highly sought-after single malt. A limited edition is released annually, never to be repeated. The theme is co-creation, highlighting other like-minded masters of their craft. A special selection of casks is used, only found in some of Macallan's most limited and prestigious ranges.
