Old grain elevator demolished in Osgood

A demolition crew from Springfield, Ohio spent the day on Monday in the village of Osgood in Darke County demolishing an old grain elevator.

The elevator is located at the intersection of State Routes 705 and 716, which is South North Street and East Main Street.

The grain elevator is owned by Trupointe Cooperative, Inc. and the demolition attracted many spectators, including some who worked at the old elevator.

It's believed the grain elevator dates back to the late 1800's.
