Ongoing lane closures on local highways this week

Ongoing lane closures on the major interstates in the Dayton region are continuing this week. Construction crews are getting a break with the heavy rains that have washed through the area, but as the weather improves, expect them to begin catching up. Some county roads remain with high water, so be alert. Here are closures for the week of June 29.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY

• State Route 4 between Stanley Avenue and I-75, daily lane closures July 2 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. and July 3 between the hours of 7 a.m. and noon. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.

• SR 48 under I-70, road closures from time to time through July 3 between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. These closures will be brief, lasting about 15 minutes each.

• Hemple Road between Diamond Mill Road and Dayton Farmersville Road, road closed through Aug. 6. The official detour is: Diamond Mill Road to Dayton Farmersville Road.

• I-70 between Airport Access Road and SR 48, Lane addition project. Two lanes are open in each direction. Motorists will encounter barrels and construction in this area.

• I-675 south between Wilmington Pike and SR 725, nightly lane closures through June 30 between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. One lane will remain open to southbound motorists at all times.

AUGLAIZE COUNTY

• SR 219 between East Shelby Road and SR 29, road closed July 6 through Sept. 30. The official detour is: SR 29 to SR 274 to SR 66.

CLARK COUNTY

• I-70 eastbound between SR 4/SR 235 and Enon Road, Lane closures July 1 between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Two eastbound lanes will remain open.

• I-70 westbound between U.S. 68 and Old Mill Road, lane closure through July 8. Two westbound lanes will remain open at all times.

• I-70 between Enon Road and U.S. 68, lane addition project. Two lanes are open in each direction. In some areas, three lanes are open in each direction.

DARKE COUNTY

• SR 503 between SR 722 and Darke-Preble County Line Road, road closed July 6 – 31. The official detour is: SR 722 to US 127 to U.S. 40.

LOGAN COUNTY

• SR 274 between County Road 39 and SR 117, road closed through July 3. The official detour is: SR 117 to U.S. 33 to U.S. 68 to SR 638.

• SR 366 between SR 368 and County Road 38, road closed July 6 – 10. The official detour will be: SR 708 to SR 33 to SR 274 to SR 117.

MIAMI COUNTY

• Eldean Road between CR 25A(Troy) and Lytle Road, closed through Nov. 2. The official detour will be posted.

• SR 55 between Staunton Road and Water Street in Troy, lane closures July 1 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.

• I-75 north and south between Fair Road and U.S. 36, nightly lane closures through July 24 between the hours of 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.

• SR 41 between SR 201 and Hufford Road, road closed through Sept. 5. The official detour is: Westbound- SR 201 to SR 55 to SR 202 to SR 41. Eastbound- SR 202 to SR 55 to SR 201 to SR 41.

SHELBY COUNTY

• SR 65 between Lock Two Road and Botkins Road, lane closures through July 8. One lane will remain open with traffic able to travel in each direction through the use of a signal.

• SR 65 between Botkins Road and Southland Road, lane closures through Aug. 28. One lane will remain open with traffic able to travel in each direction through the use of a signal.
