Power restored in Greene Co.

UPDATE @ 10:06 a.m. 

Power has been restored to Beavercreek residents and customers following an outage.

UPDATE @ 5 a.m: Only 100 customers are without power in Greene County after a power outage affected over 1,800 customers early this morning.

No word on if the outage was weather related, but crews worked quickly to restore power to customers.

UPDATE @ 2:55 a.m: Power is steadily being restored in Greene County with the number of customers without power at 758, per the DP&L outage site.

INITIAL REPORT

Over 1,800 customers are without power in Greene County, specifically the Fairborn area, according to the Dayton Power & Light outage map.

Only 200 customers were reported without power just after midnight, but the number has steadily increased.

The reason for the outage is still unknown at this time, so no word if it is weather related.

DP&L crews continue to assess the situation.
