The victim was on a bike when he was struck, according to a sergeant on the scene.
The victim was transported to Miami Valley Hospital. The extent of his injuries is unknown.
INITIAL REPORT:
A man was reportedly laying in the road, fading in and out of consciousness, after being struck by a vehicle near Burkhardt Avenue and South Wright Avenue.
Montgomery County Regional dispatch reported that he would be transported to Miami Valley Hospital.

Scanner traffic indicates that the vehicle that struck him has fled the scene.
The crash was reported around 9:15 p.m.
