Dayton man identified as pedestrian struck, killed on I-75 in Butler Twp.

A 22-year-old Dayton man died after being struck by two vehicles on southbound Interstate 75 early Thursday morning, according to Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Jae’Lin Williams was trying to walk across the highway around 1:12 a.m. north of Benchwood Road when he was hit by a 2010 Chrysler Sebring and 2006 Chevrolet Express traveling south.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No one else was injured in the crash.

It is not clear if drugs or alcohol played a role at this time.

The crash remains under investigation by OSHP.
