Plea deal made in double homicide case

A plea deal was made in a double-homicide case involving the shooting deaths of John Dixon and Donald Nesbit last November.

Davion Lyons, 25, pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery, felonious assault and two counts of involuntary manslaughter.  As part of the deal, murder and several other charges were dismissed in the case, according to court records.

Lyons was charged for the shooting deaths, which happened following a shooting inside a home on Victor Avenue on Nov. 29, 2016.

Sentencing in the case is scheduled for Nov. 15.
