Woman found dead at Microtel Inn & Suites in Riverside

UPDATE @ 10:38 a.m. (May 7):

The person who died from an apparent drug overdose at the Microtel Inn & Suites has been identified as Trina Miller, 42, of Dayton, according to the Montgomery County Coroner's Office.

A woman’s body was removed from a room at the Microtel Inn & Suites this afternoon in Riverside.

The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office said her family has been notified and an autopsy will be performed Sunday to determine the woman’s cause of death. However, investigators say at this point her death does not appear suspicious.

FIRST REPORT

Multiple police cruisers are at the Microtel Inn & Suites on Linden Avenue this afternoon conducting an investigation.

The circumstances surrounding the investigation are not yet known and an employee at the hotel asked our crew to leave the property and refused to comment on why police were at the location.

Initial reports indicated officers responded to the hotel, 4500 Linden Ave., around noon and remained on the scene at 1 p.m.
