Detectives from the Butler County Sheriff’s Office, Hamilton Police Department and the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office are looking into the crimes.
“They (detectives) have been in contact with detectives from Hamilton County and Hamilton police,” Butler sheriff’s Sgt. Monte Mayer said.
A surveillance photo of the suspect in the Seven Mile robbery shows a white male, possibly in his 20s, wearing a Red Sox baseball cap and sunglasses and dressed in a black-and-white striped shirt. Deputies said he displayed a note to a teller, which he took with him as he fled.
The suspect in the Hamilton credit union heist is described as a white male who wore a blue baseball cap and looked to be between 25 and 30 years old. He had a thin build and appeared to be about 5 feet 10 inches tall, according to Hamilton police.
The suspect in the Hamilton County robberies also was described as a white male in the 20 to 30 age-range who wore a ball cap.
In the Miamitown heist, witnesses said the robber wore a Red Sox cap, sunglasses and purple or pink fuzzy gloves. He presented a note and white plastic bag to a teller, and talked on his cell phone during the robbery, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
In Monday’s robbery, deputies and police from New Miami and Seven Mile, as well as a Fairfield police K-9 unit, responded at about 1:30 p.m. to the bank on Ohio 127. The K-9 unit tracked the suspect a few blocks to the rear of the Seven Mile Post Office, where deputies said he may have fled in a vehicle.
