Officers used a bullhorn to order the occupants of the house to come outside around 6 a.m. in the 1600 block of Huffman Avenue.
Neighbors reported three people came out of the house just before 7 a.m. and were taken into police custody.
Police on the scene declined to provide updates on the investigation.
Huffman Avenue was reopened to traffic east of Smithville Road shortly after 7 a.m.

Officers have cleared the scene and reopened Huffman Avenue near Smithville Road in Dayton after an earlier police investigation.
Units on the scene declined to release additional details about the investigation.
Officers began to clear the scene after a person was loaded into an ambulance and transported from the scene, according to our crew.
It was not known if anyone was taken into custody or arrested.

We’re working to learn more about an police investigation reported on Huffman Avenue in Dayton Friday morning.
Multiple officers have blocked Huffman Avenue east of Smithville Road for an ongoing investigation, however additional details about the incident were not immediately known.
Initial reports indicate officers were in the 1600 block of Huffman Avenue around 6 a.m. to serve a search warrant at a house, according to police scanner traffic.
According to our crew, one person was placed into an ambulance and multiple officers began leaving the scene after that person was transported from the scene.
