1 detained, 1 sought after crash in Harrison Twp. ends police pursuit

UPDATE @ 9:30 p.m.:  Police are continuing to search for one of two males who bailed from a sedan to end a pursuit that began in Huber Heights.

Sgt. William Garlow, Huber Heights police, said police are working to determine the role of the juvenile male who was apprehended right after the car smashed a garage door to end the pursuit in Harrison Twp.

Garlow said the pursuit began on Bufort Boulevard when an officer saw a vehicle reported to have been stolen in Harrison Twp., the sergeant said.

The pursuit continued west on Powell Road, south Rip Rap Road and continued onto Wagner Ford Road, then north on North Dixie Drive and finally onto Tangy Court. The car smashed the garage door in the 2600 block of Tangy because the two males left the car in gear when they jumped out, Garlow said.
