Residents who are unable to receive mail because of destroyed homes, mailboxes and difficult access to the affected communities can pick up mail at the mobile unit, which will be stationed at several locations.
Customers are required to provide their delivery address and a valid photo ID in order to pick up their mail.
The unit will also be selling stamps and can only accept cash as a form of payment.
The mobile unit will be parked in several locations on the following dates:
- On June 20 and June 27: Kemp Shopping Center, 3820 Kemp Road in Beavercreek, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- On June 25: In front of Fire Station #94, 2400 Turner Road in Dayton, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and next to Northridge United Baptist Church, 2447 Ontario Avenue in Dayton, from 2 to 4 p.m.
- On June 26: Next to Office Depot, 5425 Salem Avenue in Trotwood, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
