Prosecutor’s office to review deadly I-675 wrong-way crash in Beavercreek

The case of a wrong-way crash on I-675 in Beavercreek that killed a Wright State University student is heading to the prosecutor’s office.

Investigators plan to hand the case off to the Greene County Prosecutor's Office for review Thursday, police told News Center 7.

Ron Myer was reportedly driving the wrong way from 675 North to 844 on June 21 when he crashed into a car being driven by Paige Patrick.

The 23-year-old was killed in the crash.

Myer, a 53-year-old Wright-Patterson Air Force Base civilian employee has not been charged in the case at this time.

Police do suspect that alcohol was a factor in the crash.
